The short version: joining our list is free, promises nothing, and you can leave whenever you like. The long version is below. It’s also short.
Joining the list is just joining a list
Signing up is not an order. It’s not a reservation, a deposit, or a claim ticket. It’s you saying “keep me posted,” and us saying “gladly.”
We will never charge you
Nothing about this list costs money, not now and not later. We don’t ask for payment details, so we couldn’t charge you even if we wanted to. We don’t want to.
No promises we can’t keep
Being on the list doesn’t guarantee you a device, and it doesn’t hold you a place in line. There is no line yet. Just two people building a long-range radio for the friends you hike, camp, and get lost with. When that changes, the list hears it first.
What you actually get
Occasional emails, sent when something real happens: a milestone, a real test result, honest news. No schedule, no filler. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works in one click. Use it anytime and we’ll part as friends.
The legally required honest part
Chartreuse hasn’t been authorized by the FCC yet, so nothing is for sale, or even offered for sale, until that authorization is obtained. (That’s federal law: 47 CFR §2.803.) We’re building it now, and the certification work is part of the building.
